Ford Motor Company acquired the Lincoln Motor Company in 1922. Ford wanted to add a luxurious and prestige Lincoln car to their production. Edsel Ford took the luxury car line under wing, hiring a number of coachbuilders to contribute styling ideas, most notably Ray Dietrich, a founder of LeBaron,
who created a special body division of Murphy Body to make Lincolns. By 1929, the Lincoln Town Car was built, and Lincoln was the equal of any of its American car rivals in styling and engineering.

"Dimensions change little from the 1998-2002 edition, but the 2003 Navigator's styling is revised and a new independent rear suspension lowers the rear floor for more 3rd-row leg room. Luxury, Premium, and top-line Ultimate models are offered, all with a 300-hp 5.4-liter V8."

Do your research first when buying tires. Some tires are better suited to certain vehicles because of the way they are designed. When people think about buying tires for their car or truck, their first action is to head to the local garage or auto parts store. But in the internet age, your first stop should be at an online tire site to do some research first. Many sites focus on tire reviews and recommendations, especially if you are looking for high performance tires and not just discount tires. Just enter "tire ratings" in a search engine and then compare.
